Ms. Alice T. Howe passed away peacefully on April 26, 2015. Born August 24, 1926, she grew up in the Frog Hollow section of Hartford and attended Hartford High School, Class of 1944, after graduation she was employed by the Royal Typewriter Company. Alice resided in the south end of Hartford and enjoyed the business of breeding Persian cats, gardening, painting, home décor, and an active land lord of her three family house, on Kenneth Street. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Susan Howe of Hartford, a sister Susan Sonski of Bloomfield, and a sister Mary Greenholt of Tucson, Arizona. She leaves behind her beloved son, Mr. Thomas Howe of Hartford & dear friend Janice DeBella. Mrs. Mary Getman and her husband Steven of Somersville, Ms. Cynthia Sonski of Windsor and Mrs. Alice Petronio and her husband Lucian of Newington, Mr. Alex Sonski and his wife Ellie of Greenbelt, Maryland and many other family members. Alice resided at Hughes Health Care, in West Hartford for several years, the family would like to express their appreciation for all the kindness and support that was shown to Alice by the staff at the south west nurses' station, along with the Masonic Care Staff.
