Ana J. Ramos, 94, of Hartford, died Friday, January 27, 2017 at Jefferson House in Newington. Ana was born in Jacan, Matanzas, Cuba and was the daughter of the late Nicolas Ramos and Concepcion Oquendo. She immigrated to Hartford in 1980. Ana was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and a member of Cofradia Del Nino Jesus. Ana is survived by her son Carlos N. Ramos and his wife Herlinda of West Hartford and their two sons, Carlos V. Ramos and Nicholas C. Ramos, her sister Caridad Alvarez and her husband Ramon of Hartford. She also leaves other nephews in Florida, Texas and Louisiana. She was predeceased by two brothers, Carlos J. and Victor L. Ramos. The funeral will be Wednesday February 1, 10AM, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 79 New Park Ave., Hartford.
