Angel M. "Negro" Garcia, 60, passed in his home on October 16, 2018, in East Hartford, CT. Angel "Negro" was born on September 16, 1958 in Cidra, Puerto Rico. Son of the late Estebania Rivera and Angel Garcia Sr. He leaves behind three children Barbara Garcia, Xariel Garcia of Holyoke, MA,and Lisandro Garcia of Hartford, CT, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Angel "Negro" is also survived by his wife Denise Collazo and his siblings Sol A. Rivera, Ana R. Garcia, Manuel A. Garcia, Diana Garcia, Manny Garcia, Maria M. Reyes, Iris M. Reyes, Ariel Garcia, Lynette Garcia and Ivy Garcia. He leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his son Arnel Garcia and his sister Josefina Garcia.
Angel "Negro" Garcia was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. He was actively involved in his church Alfarero in East Hartford, CT.
The funeral will be held Saturday, October 20, 10:00 AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford, CT.
