Ann Theresa Gionfriddo, 97, of Hartford, CT, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 13, 2016. Ann is joined in Heaven by her loving husband, Paul Gionfriddo Sr., her grandson, Frankie Gionfriddo, and three of her siblings, Helen Vendetti, Lena Markstein, and Ralph LePore. Ann leaves behind her sister, Susan Fresello, and her brother, Frank LePore. Ann is survived by her three sons, Paul Jr., Francis, and Aurelio, all of Hartford, CT. Ann is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Grieving friends, Jeanne, Rachel, Rosemary, Sharron, and Judy will forever hold Ann within their hearts. Ann was loved so dearly by those she held close and while many remember her in her aging years, she would want to be remembered for who she truly was. Ann was a mother and care taker above all else. In addition to taking care of her loving family, Ann also worked at The Travelers for many years. Prior to this, Ann assisted her pharmacist husband, Paul, in their 'mom and pop' pharmacy/store and ice cream shop. Calling Hours will be held from 1:00pm-4:00pm, on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home located at 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial for Ann will be held at 10:00am on Monday, April 18, 2016 at St. Luke's Church located at 66 Bolton Street, Hartford, CT.
