Ann Emma LoSchiavo Nolan, 94, of Berlin, CT, formerly of Wethersfield, CT, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain, CT after a brief illness.

Born in Waterbury, CT on March 8, 1927 to Arthur and Anna (D'Angelo) LoSchiavo. She graduated from Bulkeley High School and worked until she was 88 years old at many places including Worth's Dept. Store, Travelers Insurance Company, the Little Aetna, Cigna Insurance Company, Drug City, Brooks Pharmacy, Pelton's Pharmacy, and Rite-Aide Pharmacy. Ann loved playing golf and she was in a bowling league at the Bowl-a-Rama for many years and also tried her hand at tennis. She enjoyed oil painting, crocheting, and cross stitching.

Ann leaves behind her daughter Kathryn Vaughn of Wethersfield and son Gregory Nolan and his wife Trina of Newington; grandchildren Matthew Vaughn and his wife Angelina, Natalie Portonova Nolan, Alyssa Portonova and her fiance Jake Condren, Robert Nolan, Stephanie Dorsey and her husband Jared, Christopher Nolan and his wife Melissa; and great grandchildren Santino Nolan, Grace Dorsey, Samuel Dorsey, and Emma Nolan. Ann also leaves her sister Rafalina Leone of Wethersfield, and many nieces and nephews and friends. Ann is predeceased by her oldest son Robert K. Nolan, her sister Geraldine Canarella, and her brothers Gustave LoSchiavo, Anthony LoSchiavo, and Arthur LoSchiavo.

The services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Visiting hours are from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Service will begin at 11:00 AM at Dillon Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109. The burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford, CT 06114.
