Anna (Buniowski) Staron, 88, beloved wife of the late Michael Staron, died, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Kurylowka, Poland and had lived in Hartford before moving to Wethersfield over 17 years ago. Anna was a devoted catholic and had attended various catholic church's and was a communicant of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church. She enjoyed traveling and traveled to Many Holy Shrines in Europe and New England. She is survived by her daughter with whom she shared her home, Agnieszka Bielak, of Wethersfield, three sons and daughters-in-law, Benedykt and Jolanta Staron of Wethersfield, Peter and Helen Staron of Plainville, and Paul and Irene Staron of Farmington, six grandchildren, Matthew Staron and his wife Lisa, Diane Lepkowski and her husband Brian, Margaret, Michael and William Staron, Adam Staron and his wife Katie, she was predeceased by Agnieszka's husband George Bielak. The funeral will be Wednesday, September 28, 2011, 9 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian, 10 a.m. in SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 61 Popieluszko St. Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011, 5-8 p.m. at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home.
