Anne K. "Nancy" Hoddinott, 91, longtime resident of Wethersfield, died Friday, February 18, 2011 in Florida. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Walter and Genevieve (O'Brien) Hoddinott. Nancy was employed at United Technologies for 43 years, retiring as an executive secretary in 1984. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield for 64 years and a member of Corpus Christi Women's Club. She was also a member of Wethersfield AARP, Chapter 1222, and the Wethersfield Seniors. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary H. Martin and her husband Thomas E. Martin; a brother, Walter J. Hoddinott, and his wife Alice Purcell Hoddinott; and two nephews, Thomas W. and David T. Martin. She is survived by two nieces, Col Linda A. Martin (USAF, Ret.) and Ms Mary W. Hoddinott, both of Denver CO; three grand nieces, Maryanne Robles, Amanda Martin and Danielle Hoddinott; one grand nephew, Michael Hoddinott. The funeral will be Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 9:15 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
