Arlindo C. Rosa, 77, of Hartford, beloved husband of Maria Amalia (Correia) Rosa, died, Friday, June 1, 2012 at his home. He was born in Vale da Trave, Portugal and immigrated to Hartford in 1972. Prior to his retirement, Arlindo worked for Taylor and Fenn of Windsor for 30 years. He loved gardening, his dog but most of all his two grandchildren. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Rui M. Rosa and his wife Ilda of West Hartford, and Tony Rosa of Hartford, a daughter, Fernanda Rosa of Hartford, two grandchildren, Sophia and Alex Rosa, a brother Dennis Rosa of Newington and several brothers and sisters in Portugal. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012, 1 p.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery.
