Ashwari M. Ramdas, 83, of Hartford, CT. beloved wife of Kumkaran Ramdas passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Hartford Hospital. Ashwari was born in Berbice, Guyana and was the daughter of the late Willie and Monsille Ramcharran.

Besides her husband Kumkaran, Ashwari is survived by her two sons Vijay Ramdas and his wife Gaitre and Sanjay Ramdas and his wife Priya, her two daughters Shiromanie Bramdeo and her husband Karamchand and Gitanjali Baldeo, her two sisters Indira Ramcharran and Liyita Ramcharran, her eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ashwari was predeceased by her sister Homwatie Somwaru and her two brothers Clifford Ramcharran and Cecil Ramcharran.

Funeral service for Ashwari will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
