Barbara "Jan" Pinto, age 79, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by loving family. Born in Hartford, CT to Robert and Margaret Macbeth. She is survived by her daughter Tiffany and ex-husband Jim and was predeceased by her parents, brother Robert and son Anthony. After graduating Hartford High School she attended Hartford School of Fashion and went on to become a display artist and fashion stylist for various departments stores in the Hartford area. Barbara "Jan" will be remembered as a loving mother, talented artist, dancer, and a strong and smart woman who always stood out from the crowd. She loved to sing and dance and share her fashion and styling skills through teaching classes in her local community. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT.
