Basilios "Bill" P. Rozanitis, 78, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of 55 years to Marie (Atheneos) Rozanitis, died suddenly, Friday, January 22, 2016. He was born in Springfield, MA, son of the late Peter and Panayota (Caridos) Rozanitis and had resided in Wethersfield. Basilios was a graduate of American International College Springfield, MA, class of 1960 and was a Certified Public Accountant in the Hartford area for many years. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and a member of the CT Society of CPA's. Besides his wife, Basilios is survived by his two sons, Peter Rozanitis and his wife Deborah, of Newington, and Mark Rozanitis and his wife Jennifer, of Kensington. His daughter Christine Zuidwijk and her husband Urvin, of the Netherlands. Basilios also leaves his two grandchildren, Noah and Isabella Zuidwijk. The funeral will be Monday, January 25, 2016, 11:00 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave. Hartford. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, January 24, 2016, 4 to 7 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpk. Wethersfield, with a Trisayion service at 6 PM.
