Benjamin Maldonado Gonzalez, 86 was born in Vega Baja, P.R. to the late Alfredo and Alejandrina (Gonzalez) Maldonado, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at his home in East Hartford , CT with his family by his side. Beside spending time with his family and friends, Benjamin had a passion for driving trailers, traveling, going to the tele-track and Jai Alai.

Benjamin will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ramona , his two sons Felix, Benjamin JR and their spouses, five daughters Magali , Luz Miriam, Yolanda, Ana Luz, Cilia and their spouses, sixteen grandchildren and their spouses , plus thirty great grandchildren, his four sisters Clotilde (Blanca), Maltide (Negra), Elsa and Julia. All of these he loved and touched deeply. Benjamin was predeceased by his sister Ana and brother Miguel.
