Betty J. Wheeler, 65, of Middletown died peacefully in her sleep on June 5, 2013. Born on October 14, 1947 in Webster, Massachusetts she is preceded in death by her parents, William and Emily Rusack, her ex-husband, Roy Wheeler and her two brothers, Harry and Richard. Betty is survived by; her two sons, Robert A. Wheeler and his wife, Kasey of Rocky Hill and Thomas A. Wheeler of Middletown, her sister, Janet Caouette and her husband, George, her five beloved grandchildren, Peter, Molly, Annie, Elizabeth and Ellie and many special nieces, nephews and friends. Betty worked as a cashier at K-Mart in Cromwell for the last seven years and loved the opportunity her job gave her to get to know her "regulars" and to spend time with her co-workers and friends, especially her best friend, Janet. She was a voracious reader, enjoyed doing word searches and loved to dance.
