Bharat Sookram, 72, of Rocky Hill, CT passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. Bharat was born in Georgetown, Guyana and was the son of the late Sookram and Rose (Sonamati) Sookram.

Bharat is survived by his wife Mayo, children Geeta, Dave, Bucka, and Pradeep (Ray). Eleven grandchildren, Vanessa, Tasha, Chris, Lynn, Brandon, Alex, Ryan, Serene, Kevin, Rose and Madison. Four greatgrand, Jaden, Carter, Camden, and Avery.

Funeral service for Bharat will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 12 p.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Cremation to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
