Carmela (DeMaio) Gleed of West Hartford, Beloved wife of the late Richard Gleed, died, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Avery Health Care Center. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late James and Grace (Valentino) DeMaio. Prior to her retirement, Carmela worked for the State of Connecticut for over 20 years. She was a longtime active member of the Elmwood Senior Center. She is survived by a cousin, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Arthur Gleed and a sister Grace Riding. The funeral will be Friday, November 18, 2011, 8p.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield. Burial will be in Mt.
