Carmelo Serrantino, 63, of Wolcott, CT beloved husband of Anita (Giordano) Serrantino passed away, Monday, December 18, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital. Carmelo was born on October 6, 1960 in Floridia, Syracuse Sicily, Italy. He was the son of Carmela (Mudano) and the late Salvatore Serrantino.

Carmelo is survived by his two brothers Emanuel and his wife Susan Serrantino of East Haven, CT and Fabio Serrantino of Hartford, CT, his goddaughter Tiffany Serrantino, and his cat Sunshine.

He also leaves behind his nephew, Anthony Serrantino, nieces Jessica Beebe, Shannon Moscato, Rosina Tiano, his in-laws Mary and Salvatore Mancini, Angela and Steven Pazsak, Franca Caouette and Joseph Giordano. Also many cousins in Sicily, Italy. His closest cousins were Carmelo and Paul Serrantino.

Carmelo loved fishing with his brothers and spending time with family.

Funeral service for Carmelo will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
