Carmen Guzman (Mamá), 69, of Hartford, CT beloved wife of Anibal Lugo passed away at St. Francis Hospital Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Carmen was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and was the daughter of the late Andres Guzman and Margarita Pereira and predeaceased by Anibal Lugo, Jr. (son) and Alexes A. Lugo (son).

Carmen loved cooking. She always made a little extra in case someone came to visit. She loved going out to eat. She enjoyed getting pampered. Most of all she loved to take care of her family and friends.

Carmen was beautiful, caring, and a loving wife, mother and grandma.

Carmen is survived by her husband Anibal Lugo of Hartford. Her son Daniel Lugo (Ivette), her daughter Annabelle Lugo, Carmen Wynter (Conrad, Jr.) and Denise Lugo. Her grandchildren: Emily Lugo, Daniel Lugo, Jr., Gabrielle Lugo, Denise Sanseverino, Jenna Sanseverino, Conrad Wynter, III, Navarro Rivera, and Melina Rivera. Her nephew, Denes Guzman and niece Izabella Guzman.

A private celebration of Carmen's life will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT.
