Catherine Mary (Foley) Karsky, 89, of Hartford, widow of Andrew Karsky, diedTuesday, October 28, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Thomas and Delia (Cooney) Foley and was a lifelong resident. Prior her retirement, Catherine was a Para Professional with the Hartford Board of Education. She is survived by two sons, Kim C. Karsky and his wife Lynn of Meriden and Marc A. Karczewski and his fiancee Diane of Hartford, two daughters, Mara A. Christiano of West Hartford and Kara L. Garcia of Hartford, a brother Jerry Foley of West Hartford, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth Michalik. The funeral will be Friday October 31st, 10:30 a.m. from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. in St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 494 New Britain Ave. Hartford. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
