Custode "Dino" G. LaRosa, 85, of Hartford, CT beloved husband of Angela (Coco) LaRosa passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at home. Dino was born in Priolo, Sicily and was the son of the late Luciano and Paola (Cucinotta) LaRosa.

In 1957 he immigrated to Toronto, Canada where he lived until the early sixties when he settled in Hartford, Connecticut. Dino worked at Merin Brothers as a cloth cutter until 1988.

Some of Dino's favorite past-times were fishing with his sons, bowling, drinking espresso with anyone who came over to visit, and playing cards. He loved to watch UCONN Women's basketball, and his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

Dino is survived by his wife, Angela (Coco) LaRosa, his children, Luciano and his wife Anna Marie, Thomas and his wife Catherine, Carmelo and his wife Lisa, Paula, Joanne and her husband Jason, his sister and brother-in-law Lidia and Luigi, sister-in-law Rina, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Giuseppe and Lucia. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his brothers, Salvatore, Ambrogio, Angelo, Mike, and his sister Lina.

Funeral service for Dino will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11am at St. Augustine's Church, 10 Campfield Ave., Hartford, CT. Burial will be private.
