Cynthia M. (Laneri) Cavanaugh, 54, of South Glastonbury, beloved wife of Richard M. Cavanaugh died, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Hartford, daughter of Ruth (Bergstrom) Laneri of South Glastonbury and the late Robert A. Laneri. Cynthia was a former manager of Kelianda Farms a large horse farm in Columbia for several years, she spent her life loving and caring for horses and she also had great affection for dogs and all other animals. Cindee was a former member of South Congregational Church, South Glastonbury. Besides the love of her family, she enjoyed baking, knitting, cross stitching and gardening. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her daughter, Kelly N. Cavanaugh of South Glastonbury and her fiancée, Joshua E. Messier of Columbia, her brother Robert J. Laneri and his wife Janice of East Haddam and several nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 7 P.M. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, with the Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
