Daniel Torres, born in Hartford, CT, was the son of Maria DeLeon and Efrain Ortiz. He loved both of his daughters, and spending time with family and siblings. He enjoyed fixing and repairing electronics,and doing work around the house. He served in the Connecticut Army National Guard in the 102nd Infantry Bravo Company.

Daniel was blessed with a large and loving family. What Daniel loved most was being with his daughters, nephews, and nieces. Daniel was known for having a big heart and always being there when needed. He was an amazing son, brother, and father.

Daniel is survived by his two daughters, Eliana and Maeve Torres; his parents Maria DeLeon and Efrain Ortiz; Stepfather, Santos DeLeon, and his eleven siblings.

A Celebration of Daniel's life will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT. Burial with full military honors will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT. The American flag will be presented to his mother Maria DeLeon.
