David Rae, 75 of Hartford, CT and No. 64 Village passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Hartford Hospital. David was born in Guyana and was the son of the late Tate and Permaul Rae.

David will be remembered by his wife Tillasree aka Dato/Julie, his son Vicky, his two daughters, Paulina (Esther) and Christina (Baby). His eight grandchildren, Rebekah, Aliesa, Mark, Naomi, Annie,Terrance, Emily, Trevis and his great grandchild, Jireh. His sisters, Gladis, Ginnie and Ivy. David is predeceased by his late son, Samuel, three brothers, Albert, Alan and Vanryricks and his two sisters, Lily and Dato.

David was the son-in-law of the late Finney. Father-in-law of Andrew Alfred, Neena Rae (Tina) and the late Buddy. Brother-in-law of Peggy,Pinky, Batchie (Shanty) Mona Serrao and others. Uncle of Indro, Sunita, Dingo, Nigel, Chris Zlatan, Kelvin Serrao and many others. Relative of the Ramdass, Budrams and Family friend of the Rai, Itwaru

A Celebration of David's life will be held Saturday October 22, 2022 at Dillon Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike Wethersfield CT. Relatives and friends may call at The Dillon Baxter Funeral Home on Friday October 21 from 5pm until 8pm. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday October 22  from 9am until 12 noon at the Dillon Baxter Funeral Home.
