Delia C. Rodriguez, 96, of Newington, beloved wife of the late Armando C. Rodriguez, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at home. She was born in Majagua, Cuba, daughter of the late Juan and Paula (Rivera) Sanchez. She immigrated to Hartford in 1971 where she lived for many years before moving to West Hartford 25 years ago.
Delia is survived by her son Juan Rodriguez and his wife Miriam of Windsor, her daughter Barbara Salvador and her husband Vicente "Vinnie" of Newington, her sister Miriam Dominguez of Hartford, 3 grandchildren; Luis Salvador and his wife Kaitlyn, Daniel Salvador and his wife Yelixa, and Alex Rodriguez and his wife Diana. 4 great-grandchildren; Mercedes Salvador, Adrianna Salvador, Kira Salvador, and Vince Armando Salvador. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by 3 brothers; Armando, Nelson, and Justo, and 2 sisters; Zoila, and Hilda.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021, 11:00 am at María Reina De La Paz Parish (St. Lawrence O'Toole Church) 494 New Britain Ave. Hartford, CT 06106. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021. from 6 to 8 pm at the Dillon Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield
