HAEFS, Dorothy A. Dorothy A. Haefs, 85, of Wethersfield, died Friday, (November 12, 2010). She was born in Hartford daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Haefs. Prior to her retirement, Dorothy worked for the former G. Fox Company and Traveler's Insurance Co. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church, and was a member of the senior group at First Church Village and was an active knitter and helpful to her neighbors. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Deborah and Steven Graff, of Wethersfield James and Patty Haefs of Glastonbury, Catherine Haefs and her companion, Steve Eggsware of Vermont and Matthew Haefs, of Manchester and many great nieces and great nephews and a devoted friend, Millie Scanlon of Wethersfield and her family. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, (November 20, 2010), 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, 606 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to: V.N.A.
