Edgardo "Edgar" Matos 56 years old of Hartford passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at home.

Edgar was born in Hartford to Eligia Matos on June 15 ^th , 1964. He worked as a warehouse worker for Walgreens for over 10 years. He enjoyed music, playing dominoes, lottery numbers, spending time  with family and friends. He also attended church on Sundays at Our Lady of Sorrows in Hartford.

Edgar preceded in death by his mother Eligia Matos and siblings Angel, Dora, Ruth Rodriguez, and Benjamin and Freddy Matos.

Edgar is survived by his four daughters Erica, Cristy, Mary, Ashley and son in law Jonathan. Three grandsons Ashton, Jerrian and Landon. Also by his siblings and their spouses Pedro and Theresa Rodriguez, Eduardo and Terry Alamo, Edwin and Diane Rodriguez, Abigail Rivera, Nilda Santiago, Alberto.

Edgar will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A church service will be held on Saturday. September 5 ^th ,2020 at 9am at Manchester Church if Nazarene 218 Main Street, Manchester CT, 06042. Burial to follow in Mt. Saint Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Road Bloomfield, CT. 06002.
