Edna M. Diaz, 62 of Hartford, beloved wife of Hiram Miranda passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, daughter of Carlos Merced and Aurora Perez and had lived in Hartford for many years. Prior to her retirement, Edna was a CNA Nursing assistant for many years. She was also a member of the Church of God Pentecost, Hartford.

Besides her parents, Edna is survived by her 4 sons; Jose L. Santos and his wife Karen Rosario of East Hartford, Jorge L. Santos, Ariel D. Santos, and Ismael Diaz, all of Hartford. She also leaves 31 brothers and sisters, 13 grandchildren; Genellie, Jose, Meagan, Jennifer, Angel, Makayla, Moookie, Ariel, Gizzel, Rosalie, Aliana, Zaya, and Angie. And her 5 great grandchildren; Bryson, Esabella, Ariana, Jordan, and Kayden. Edna was also predeceased by 2 sons; Angel L. Santos, and Luis Merced.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Church of God Pentecost, 75 Zion St. Hartford, CT 06106.
