Elaine M. Johnson, 83 of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Robert A. Johnson died Thursday, December 11, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. She was born in Hartford and had lived in Wethersfield for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Johnson was a school teacher for New Park Ave. School, now Parkville Community School, for many years. She was a graduate of CCSU and a longtime communicant of Corpus Christi Church. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Larry White and his wife Donna and Raymond White all of California, a grandson Harrison White. She was predeceased by a son Thomas White. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 16, 2013, 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no visiting hours. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
