Elizabeth C. "Betty" Resony, 89, of Wethersfield, widow of the late Ralph J. Resony died on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.  She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Patrick and Lillian (Doran) Cavanaugh.  Prior to her retirement, Betty worked for the State of CT, Department of Transportation for 40 years.  Betty was a long time communicant of Christ the King Parish, Corpus Christi Church in Wethersfield.
She is survived by all of the members of the Cavanaugh families.
The funeral will begin on Friday, November 30, at 10:30 AM from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 56 Hartford Ave., Wethersfield. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 AM, prior to the service.
