Emilio Figueroa, 44, of Hartford, CT passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023. Emilio was born in Hartford, CT and was the son of Hector Figueroa and Isabel Nunez. Emilio was a charismatic, loving, humorous man that loved his family and friends. He loved connecting with others and had a remarkable ability to make all who crossed his path his friend. He was loyal to a fault and treasured and valued time spent with his loved ones.

Emilio loved football Sundays, as he cheered on his Patriots, loved fishing, playing basketball, listening to music, and enjoyed calling/visiting his family and childhood friends. He built his life and memories in several states over the course of his life and was never afraid to start over. He loved supporting his nieces and nephews at their sporting events and was one of their biggest fans. He had the memory of an elephant. If he met you a decade ago he could recall the time and place. He simply had a way of capturing your heart. Emilio enjoyed working with his hands. He was a skilled roofer, tile setter, landscaper and was available to lend a hand on any home projects. He was a jack of all trades. Emilio will be dearly missed by all whom he knew. Now he can rest easy in the loving arms of the Father.

Emilio is survived by his son Emilio Figueroa Jr., his two brothers Hector Figueroa, Jr. and Alfredo Cuellar all of Hartford, CT., his three sisters Esmeralda Figueroa of Wethersfield, CT, Julie Figueroa and Barbara D. Claudio and her husband Gustavo all of Windsor, CT. He leaves behind his nieces and nephews whom he adored. They are Dennis and Maya Machial, Hector Figueroa Jr., and Corrina Figueroa, Jayden and Yeliah Figueroa, Alfredo Cuellar Jr., and Antonio and Ariana Claudio.

A Celebration of Emilio's life will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be private.
