Estebania Rivera, 77, of Hartford, died Sunday, January 26, 2014. She was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Francisco and Margara (Gonzalez) Rivera. She was a communicant of St. Anne/Immaculate Conception Church in Hartford. Estebania is survived by 7 children, Sol A. Rivera, Ana R. Garcia, Angel M. Garcia, Manuel A. Garcia, Diana Garcia, Maria M. Reyes, and Iris M. Reyes; her siblings Ramon Rivera, Ismael Rivera, Justo A. Rivera, Josefina Ortiz, Santiaga Rivera, and Juana Rivera; her 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children Josephina Garcia and Ernestina Garcia, and 13 of her brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St Anne/Immaculate Conception Church, 820 Park Street, Hartford, CT. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, January 29 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home.
