Evelyn Diaz, 60, of Hartford, CT passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital. Evelyn was born in Bayamon, PR and was the daughter of the late Marcelino and Iris (Santana) Diaz.

Evelyn is survived by her four children Denise Ortega, Ashley Thomas, Orlando Ortega, and Domingo Ortega, her sisters and brothers Marcelino Diaz, Maria Diaz, Cecilia Diaz, Antonio Diaz, Nelson Diaz, Manuel Diaz, Ines Diaz, Nelida Diaz, Rafael Diaz and her fourteen grandchildren.

Funeral service for Evelyn will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 12pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Mt.
