Evrianthi Neti (née Naçe) passed away on February 5, 2016, at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband Kiço Neti; her parents, Vangjel and Efigjeni Naçe; and her two brothers Niko and Foti Naçe. Evrianthi was born on April 5, 1926 in Përmet, Albania. She spent most of her life as an elementary school teacher in Tirana, Albania, and immigrated to the U.S. with her family in the mid-1990s. Evrianthi is survived and cherished by her son, Panajot and his wife, Vjollca Neti; her daughter Irma Neti; and her three granddaughters, Evi and Helen Neti, and Ornela Minxhozi. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral service will begin at 11AM on February 10th, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 433 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114, followed by interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held tonight, February 9th, from 5-8 PM at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, with a Trisagion Service at 6:45.
