Frances J. Whitehead, 81, of Hartford, widow of William Whitehead died, Monday, April 8, 2013, in the comfort of her home. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Frank P. Sr. and Caroline Smialek. She retired from the State of Connecticut after 27 years of service. Frances will fondly be remembered for telling jokes and being able to whip up a Lasagna for any occasion. She leaves two daughters, Barbara DeLorso and her husband Richard of Woodstock Valley, CT and Deborah Moir of Hartford, grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon and Matthew, great grandchildren, Dominic, Angelina and Bella, a sister, Geraldine Noyes and her husband Edwin of Jupiter, FL and many loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Frank Jr. and his wife Helma, son-in-law, Alan Moir. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
