Francisco DeJesus Torres, 43 of West Hartford, better known as Frankie, beloved husband of Damaris (Rios) Torres, passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 16, 2021. He was born in Hartford, son of Tomas and Ana Celida Medina Torres.

Besides his wife and parents, Francisco leaves his two sons; Jacob Thomas Torres, who is on active duty with the U.S. Army, stationed in South Korea, and his youngest son, Adam Diego Torres of West Hartford, in Middle School. His daughter, Sharlene Nicole Torres, of Hartford, an alumni of The University of Hartford. Frankie loved his children very much, and was proud to share their accomplishments, always ending his sentences with "And, I'm their dad." He also leaves his four brothers; Tomas Torres, Jr. of West Hartford, and Sergio, Emanuel, and William Torres. His five sisters; Lucy Cuevas, of Glastonbury, Brenda Torres, of Hartford, Nereida and her husband Clement, of Bloomfield, and Nelita and Charito Torres, of Hartford. He also leaves his beloved French Bulldog Sasha. He would tell his children that Sasha was their sister.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Dillon Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpk. Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Visiting hours will be Tuesday prior to the service, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
