Franco Liberatore, born in Pratola Peligna, Italy, passed away at Hartford Hospital on August 4, 2023.  Franco was born on July 9, 1946.  He put himself through college and then went on to work for the State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation for over 30 years.  When he retired, he had risen to the position of bridge manager.  Franco loved skiing, biking, soccer, the opera, and good food and wine.

He leaves behind his wife, Roxanne (Ceravollo), a daughter Melissa Liberatore-Moretti, a son-in-law Jared Moretti, a brother Bruno and his wife Ines.  He also leaves behind family members in America, Italy, Canada and France.  He was predeceased by his son Matthew.

A mass will be held at Saint Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave, Hartford, CT at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  There are no calling hours.  Burial will be private.
