Frank Palazzolo, 86, formerly of Hartford, beloved husband of the late Frances (Amodio) Palazzolo, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Middlesex Health Care. He was born in Palazzolo, Sicily, Italy son of the late Paolo and Anna (Gilberto) Palazzolo and immigrated to the U.S. in 1952. Prior to his retirement, Frank worked for Sir Allo Shoe Repair, G. Fox & Co. for 40 years. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Linda Palazzolo and Paul and Rosanne Palazzolo all of Newington, four grandchildren, Christina, Daniel and Nicholas Palazzolo and Lisa Palazzolo Morgan and her husband Jonathan and a great granddaughter, Adrianna Palazzolo. The funeral will be Saturday, March 5, 2011, 9:45 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 in the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
