Gaetano N. "Guy" Gulla, 59, of Hartford, died, Thursday, (January 3, 2013). He was the beloved son of the late Ralph N. Gulla and son of Ann Natalie Picano. He leaves behind a brother Ralph J. Gulla and sister Maryann Ramos of Hartford. He also leaves behind nieces Rebecca and Destiny Davis, Terra Ann Gulla, his loving aunts and uncles as well. Guy was an employee for the State of Connecticut as a social worker and was also employed by H.B. Davis Inc. He had a love for old movies and especially loved going out on weekly shopping excursions. Guy was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by all. He battled a severe spinal cord injury for over 30 years and touched the lives of anyone that came in contact with him. He will be so sadly missed words cannot describe. We would like to give a special thanks to his caregiver, Richard Boima, who devoted 12 years of giving exceptional care to him. They will always share a special bond together. Although Guy is no longer physically with us, he will be in our hearts forever, and we pray that he will finally be able to walk again in paradise.
