Gary Thomas Gulliksen, 75, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of the late Janet Gulliksen, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford son of the late Gustav and Julia (Sullivan) Gulliksen. Gary was self-employed for many years at Gulliksen Home Improvement Company. Gary's passion was playing golf with his golf buddies. He was particularly proud of his hole-in-one at Stanley Golf course. Gary is survived by Deborah Jones of New Britain, a significant and loving companion in his life. He was the loving father to two daughters, Heather Collins and her husband, Steve of Providence Forge, VA and Bonnie Allen and her husband, James of Rockfall, as well as Donna Gulliksen of Manchester, their mother and a cherished friend. Gary leaves two step-sons Craig Olivieri of Jackson, WY and Eric Olivieri with his wife, Andrea of Bolton. Gary is also survived by his sister Karen Heldmann and her husband, James of Vernon, sister-in-laws Betty Gulliksen of Cromwell and Maxine Elansky of South Windsor. Gary was predeceased by brothers Peter and David Gulliksen, and sister Barbara Brewer. Gary will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Sabrina LeRae Pudoff, Victoria-Lynne Smith and her husband, Daniel Smith, Steven LeRay Collins Jr. and his wife, Ashley Collins, Diana Allen, Paige, Heath, Amaya and Indi Olivieri, as well as great-granddaughters Nadia Grace-Lynne Pudoff, Scarlett Ivy Smith, Everleigh Monroe Collins, great-grandson Caspian LeRay Collins, and many nephews and nieces of whom he loved very much. Gary often talked about his close friends Marty and Cindy Daigle, Joe and Arlene Campanelli, Gary Zyla, and Manny Contos.
