Gene A. Ouellet, 81, of Portland, CT beloved husband of Patricia (Boucher) Ouellet passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at home. Gene was born in Hartford, CT and was the son of the late Albert and Bernadette (Roy) Ouellet.

Gene is survived by his brother Jerry Ouellet and his husband Richard Kaminski, his daughter Dawn and her husband Dwight, and his grandchildren Colin and Bridget.

Funeral service for Gene will be held Friday, June 12, 2026 at 12pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, Friday from 10am to 12pm.
