George F. Keduk, 90, of Hartford, beloved husband of the late Shirley (Cook) Keduk, father, grandfather and great grandfather, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Ellis Manor. He was born in Bloomfield, son of the late Filerat and Sofia (Krupenevich) Keduk and had lived in Hartford for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, George worked for Lincoln Dairy for over 25 years and later served as Sextant of Memorial Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II serving in the South Pacific. He loved his family and enjoyed his summer vacations at Cape Cod with them. He is survived by two daughters, Karen Dobrick and her husband Wally of Collinsville, Joyce DePaolis and her husband Michael of Florida, two sons, George T. Keduk of Hartford and Robert Keduk and his fiancée Linda Underwood of East Hartford, four grandchildren, Crystal, Jason, Gina and Andrew, two great grandchildren, Zoe and Lillian, two step grandchildren, Joey and Denise and her children, Olivia, Tony and Danny, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Ellis Manor for all their compassionate care given George. The funeral will be Friday, August 19th, 10 a.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield. Burial with military honors will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
