Geraldine (Ratches) Prattson, 97, of New Britain, wife of the late Francis "Frank" Prattson, died, Wednesday, October 31, 2012. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late George and Mary (Shettle) Ratches and had lived in Hartford and Wethersfield before moving to New Britain. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She is survived by two sons, Edward G. (Denise) Prattson of Wethersfield, and George M. (Maria) Prattson of Vernon, three daughters, Joan A. Page of FLorida, Katherine P. (Joseph) Guzzo of Newington, Geraldine M. (Walter) Fiederowicz of Litchfield, her daughter-in-law, Madeline Prattson of West Hartford, 13 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Frank Prattson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 8, 2012, 10:30 a.m. in Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St. Wethersfield, everyone is asked to go directly to church. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, November 7th, 5-8 p.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield.
