Germaine M. Chartier, 91, of West Hartford, CT beloved wife of the late Philip Chartier to whom she was married for sixty-four years, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital. Germaine was born in Berlin, NH and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Rita (Roy) Marchand.

Germaine is survived by her son Michael Chartier and his wife Donna, her daughter Debra Lagueux and her husband Wilson, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Germaine was predeceased by her daughter Sheila Boorman, her sister Mary Jane Wegerif and her brother Gerard Marchand.

Funeral service for Germaine will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 12 pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Mt.
