LEVESQUE, Germaine M. Germaine (Michaud) Levesque 79, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Lucien "Pit" Levesque died peacefully at home on Wednesday, (May 4, 2011) after a brave battle with cancer. She was born in Clair, New Brunswick Canada on November 17, 1931 the daughter of the late Emile and Alphena (Pelletier) Michaud and had resided in Hartford for 48 years before moving to Wethersfield 8 years ago. In addition to her loving husband of 57 years, she is survived by four children, Patricia and (Phil) Labrecque of Unity, NH, Gloria Lebrecque of New Britain, Diane Levesque of Wethersfield, and Thomas and (Jean) Levesque of Glastonbury. Also, a very dear family friend that she considered her fifth child, Reverend Alvin J. Leblanc of Bristol. She leaves behind seven wonderful grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Germaine also leaves behind her brothers, Normand and (Gilda) Michaud of Newington, Renald and (Yvonne) Michaud of Clair, New Brunswick Canada, Gerald and (Dot) Michaud of Meriden; and a sister-in-law Lillian and (Rudy) Pelletier of Madawaska, ME; a brother-in-law Buddy and (Regina) Levesque of Southington, plus numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday May 9, 2011, 9:45 a.m. from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpk. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 280 Brook St. Rocky Hill. Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home.
