Gloria M. Gimmartino, 88, passed away on April 4, 2018 at St. Mary's Home, West Hartford.  Born in Northfield, VT, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (Martin) David.  Gloria graduated from Northfield High School and later served as a legal secretary in Boston where she gained a reputation as a valuable asset to the insurance company.  Throughout her life Gloria's love and devotion to her children was unsurpassed.  Lastly, she will be remembered for the unique way in which she touched everyone's life in her own way and for her beautiful green eyes.  Gloria is survived by her two sons, Joseph Gimmartino Jr. and his wife Annie of Vernon, and Louis Gimmartino of South Windsor, and her two daughters Gilda Gimmartino of West Hartford, and Victoria Richard of New Britain.  She also leaves behind her brother Jack David and wife Pat of Southington, her sister Lorette Flower of Avon, and her seven grandchildren; Michael, Victor Jr., Sarah, Amanda, Jessica, Matthew and Kaeden and her thirteen great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Gimmartino, her son, Victor J. Gimmartino Sr., her daughter, Gloria Lynn Pereira, her grandson Justin Pereira, three brothers, and a sister.  Contributions in Gloria's memory may be made to St. Mary Home, 2021 Albany Ave., West Hartford, CT 06117.

The Funeral Service will begin 9:15 AM on Wednesday, April 11, at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke, Wethersfield.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be follow, 10 AM, at St. Augustine's Church, 10 Campfield Ave., Hartford.  Burial will follow in Mt.
