Helen W. Hand, 92 of Wethersfield, CT, beloved wife for 60 years of the late John Hand, passed away peacefully at her home with family on Saturday, May 29, 2021.  Born in New Haven, CT on June 19, 1929, she was the daughter of late Frank Wilenski and Stephanie Wysocki.

After Helen's retirement from the Accounting Department at the Veteran's Administration in Newington, CT, she was an active member in the Church of Incarnation Women's Club, including the Spiritual Committee, House of Bread Committee and Prayer Shawl Ministry.

Helen enjoyed traveling, knitting, family cruises and summers at the family shore home in Westbrook, CT.  Helen was active in the Little Stannard Beach Association for many years.

More than anything, Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be forever missed by her two daughters, Adrienne Miazga and husband Ted of Rhode Island and Beverly Hand and husband Paul Joubert of Massachusetts; son-in-law Bob Vibberts; four grandchildren, Jeff Miazga and wife Carolyn of Massachusetts, Kim Miller of Florida, Matthew Vibberts Hand and wife Kelley of Pennsylvania and Greg Joubert and wife Traci of Santa Fe, N.M.; four great grandchildren, Aiden and Andrew Miazga and Madison and Jaxson Miller; nieces Dorothy Gesino and Roberta Connelly; and many other dear friends.

Aside from her loving parents, she was predeceased by her loving daughter Janet Hand and siblings, Stanley, Al, Ted, William and Stella Wilenski.

A mass celebrating Helen's life will be on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00am at Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St, Wethersfield.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067
