Helen G. Tancredi, 88, wife of the late John F. Tancredi, passed away at Hartford Hospital on December 24, 2012. Born in Northhampton, MA, Helen resided in Hartford most of her life. She was retired from the former Hartford National Bank after more than 20 years of service.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Antonia Tancredi, her son John Tancredi and wife Anne, son Joseph Tancredi and wife Sherry, daughter-in-law Roseann Tancredi, and her sister Irene Frago. She was predeceased by her son Martin Tancredi, and sisters Louise Trybulski, Dorothy Hilchuck, and brother Joseph Kolosky. She also leaves six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Bel-Air Manor in Newington (especially Maxine and Junior) for their care and kindness over the past two years.
Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
