Henry B. Casella, 84, of Glastonbury and East Hartford died peacefully on March 9, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Susan Stevens Casella (1977). Hank was the son of the late Henry J. and Louise A. Molina Casella. After graduating from Glastonbury High School in 1956, he worked for Pratt & Whitney for 36 years before retiring in 1993. He was a Life Member of the Glastonbury Knights of Columbus, where he served as a Grand Knight and 4th Degree Knight. Above all, Hank loved his family. His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather.

He leaves his son, Steven E. Casella of East Hartford, and his daughter Janet L. DeCapua and her husband Mark, of South Glastonbury.  Hank also leaves his "two favorite people in the whole wide world", his beloved grandchildren, Matthew Henry DeCapua and Alyssa Lynn DeCapua, both of South Glastonbury. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth in 1944.

In accordance with his wishes, services will be private. The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT has charge of arrangements.
