Herotido "Cano" Lopez, 75, of Hartford, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Las Piedras, PR to the late Secundino and Sixta (Velazquez) Lopez. Cano resided in NY for many years and worked at different restaurants and owned one in Manhattan NY. He loved to cook and entertain family and friends. He was a lovable and caring person. He will be remembered as an amazing man who will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by brothers, Hector M., Miguel A., Jesus M., Secundino, Jr., Jose R., Jesus O., sisters Cecelia L., Luz M., Ana M., Raquel, Maria de Los A., and Wanda R.,and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Rafael, Ismael, Carmen Doris, Jose Antonio, and Maria Socorro. A special thank you to Hartford Hospital Conklin Bldg 3rd floor staff. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday April 9, 2017 from 2-6 PM at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield. The funeral will Be Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10 AM at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
