Indraine Veerasammy, 84, of Hartford, beloved widow of Bertie Veerasammy, died, Monday, March 30, 2015. She was born in Guyana and had lived in Hartford for many years. Prior to her retirement she worked as a tailor. She is survived by a sister, Rena Seenarine and her children, Joseph Bhikhdhari of Hartford and 5 children, Chanderwattie Mahapot of Hartford and 4 children, Roshnie and Manny Barriosnuevo of East Hampton and 2 children, Serojnie Das, deceased, Rohenie & Rohan Balbachan of Florida and 4 children, Jaiashrie Donna Veerasammy Lentini of Newington and 2 children, Arnold and Cathy Veersammy of Coventry and 3 children, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 8-11am at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
