Ion Marin, 71 years old, of Hartford, CT beloved husband of Stefana (Marica) Marin, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. Ion was born in Romania and was the son of the late Gheorghe and Elana Marin. Ion was a passionate reader and enthusiastic fisherman. He enjoyed watching action/western movies and loved listening to Elvis and country music.

Ion is survived by his three sons, Adrian Marin of Hartford, CT., Alberto Marin of Romania and Anton Marin of DE, his two daughters Milica Serban of Hartford and Cristina Marin of Barkhamsted, CT, daughter-n-law Mirela and son-in-law Catalin and his six grandchildren Alex, Rebeca, Beatrice, Jessy, Casandra and Emilia.

Funeral services for Ion will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023  at 1 p.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
